System Maintenance :: Competency :: Competency Statement

This is where your maintenance company writes a statement of engineer competency to your client for the premises that you are going to maintain and service.
The statement must include your minimum skill requirements of your engineers that you employ and also the sub contract engineers you may send on to the site.
The competency statement re assures your client that you only employ engineers that are capable of the maintenance tasks required for the building.
It is good practice to produce a competency statement which of cause re assures your customer.
Competence is the ability to perform some task, your engineers need to be competent to perform there duties.
